  • Therapy can be helpful whether you’re navigating a difficult season, feeling emotionally overwhelmed, struggling in relationships, or simply wanting to better understand yourself. You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from counseling. Many people come to therapy looking for support, clarity, healing, or healthier ways to cope with life’s challenges.

  • The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you to counseling, what challenges you may be facing, and what goals you hope to work toward. You are welcome to share at your own pace — there is no pressure to have everything figured out before you begin.

  • Yes. Virtual counseling sessions are available for clients who prefer the flexibility and comfort of meeting from home or another private space. Online therapy can be a convenient option for busy schedules, parents, professionals, or anyone who feels more comfortable connecting remotely.

  • Connected Roots Counseling supports clients through a variety of challenges including anxiety, stress, trauma, life transitions, relationship struggles, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem concerns, grief, burnout, and personal growth. Counseling is tailored to each individual’s unique experiences and goals.

  • Yes. Connected Roots Counseling takes a trauma-informed approach to care, which means creating a safe, supportive environment that honors each client’s experiences and emotional needs. Therapy focuses not only on symptoms, but also on understanding how past experiences may impact present emotions, relationships, and patterns.

  • Session frequency depends on your needs and goals. Many clients begin with weekly sessions to build consistency and support, while others may transition to biweekly sessions over time. Together, we’ll create a plan that feels supportive and sustainable for you.

  • Connected Roots Counseling is considered an out-of-network provider. However, we can provide you with a Superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

  • Reach out directly by phone or email. From there, we’ll discuss availability, answer any questions you may have, and help determine the next best steps for scheduling.

  • A 50-minute session is $150.  Please discuss financial concerns during your first session, as I do not want money to be the reason that you cannot come to counseling. Cash, check, credit and debit are all acceptable forms of payment.
